Extra Large Speak Vase

The Large Speak Vase is made from wheel-thrown porcelain. It can be used as a vessel for flowers or as a sculptural conversation-piece. With a pebble-smooth, round body and flared fluted opening, its size makes a dramatic statement in an interior.

Its design was inspired by audio speakers and the human figure, and is called 'Speak Vase' because of the way the form gives each vase an individual character, which appears to 'speak' to the observer.

Pictured with deep black, manganese glaze and made from porcelain by hand on the potter's wheel. Also available in white - satin, crackle glaze.
