Handmade, asymmetric ceramic vase, wheel-thrown porcelain finished with a tactile, satin-matt manganese black glaze and gilded with 24-carat goldleaf around the outside of the fluted opening.
The form of the smooth, pebble-shaped body and subtly twisted flute varies subtly in each vase, giving each vase a distinct personality (the name Speak Vase comes from the way the vases appear to converse) which the artist accentuates with carefully-positioned gilding.
Perfect for floral displays - keep the stems short for an ‘explosion of flowers’ effect - or as a contemporary feature piece in your home; these are unique and characterful artist-made pieces.

Care Instructions:
Handwash only using soft cloths. Please do not use abrasive chemicals on this surface. Gilded items can be used carefully but the 24ct goldleaf surface is delicate. The gilded element of their surface has been stabilised and protected by shellac but care should be taken in its use.

Items are securely packaged for transit but, in the rare event of a breakage, the item will be replaced. In this event customers need to notify the studio with images of breakage within 24 hours of arrival to secure replacement item.
