Public health precautions we are taking:

  • We have set up the studio for some social distancing but the space is not large so we have done everything we can to make facilities for individual use.

  • Mask wearing is now up to individual preference but we are being guided by our students on this. When you arrive for your class please let the tutor know if your preference is for a mask and we are very happy to wear one with you.

  • Hand tools and clay are not shared during classes. Hand tools are washed with hot soapy water at the end of the class and a new set are put in place for the following class.

  • There is a maximum of 3 classes per day at the studio.

  • Between every class we are sanitising tools and all common surfaces as well as each throwing wheel.

  • Thorough sanitising and cleaning is taking place each day with tools and equipment being designated for each student to avoid cross-contamination.

  • The studio is ventilated throughout the classes.

  • We have a maximum of 3 students per class with exclusive use of the studio plus a tutor. It is not necessary to pass through any common areas, such as corridors, to access the studio.

What you can do to help:

  • If you are able to drive, walk or cycle to the studio then this would be preferable. There is some evening on-street free parking adjacent to the studio after 6:30pm and paid-for car parks nearby.

  • If you have symptoms of a persistent cough, fever or loss of taste and smell, or you are otherwise required to self-isolate then please get in touch with us at the studio to postpone your class.

  • Please wash your hands when entering the studio and at the end of the class
