Cancelling or rescheduling a class

We have these policies because we are an independent studio offering one class at a time with freelance tutors making time in their schedules to teach a lesson at the Jo Davies Studio. If we can't fill a place in a class, or a class is cancelled within 7 days of its date, we still need to honour that commitment. We don't like turning away students but sometimes have to when our class studio is fully booked. We want to make sure that as many people as possible can enjoy a class here at the studio and last-minute cancellations can prevent us from doing this.

Rescheduling your class

If you need to reschedule your Private or Group Class, Course or Workshop you can do so up to 7 days before your booking (or the first session of a course). Rescheduling up to 7 days beforehand can be done once free of charge. Please note that the date that you reschedule to is subject to availability. We regret that rescheduling your class/course within 7 days of its date (or start date), or rescheduling a second time, will incur a fee of 50% of the cost of your class or course.

Cancelling your class

You can cancel your place on a Private or Group Class, Course or Workshop outright up to 7 days before the date of the class but it will only be possible to refund 50% of your original fee, if cancelling outright after this cut off you will forfeit 100% of your fee.

Please note that all fees for rescheduling or cancelling can be waived if you are able to find someone to replace you, just let us know who is replacing you, along with their contact email, so we can forward them relevant information.

If the Jo Davies Studio needs to cancel a class, you will be offered a full refund or reschedule of the class.
